Shogo Kimura(木村 昇吾)

Born on 16 April 1980, in Osaka, Kimura joined the National High School Baseball Championship in his senior year from Jinsei High School. Graduating from Aichi Gakuin University, where Shogo played an active part in baseball as shortstop, won the “best nine” five times. The batting average of the league is 30%, 1 minute, 8 home runs, and 5 home runs. Joined Yokohama DeNA BayStars in 2002 in 11th place in the draft. Traded to Hiroshima Toyo Carp in 2007, became a regular in 2011 and went to score 37 sacrifice bunts in 106 games. Although he exercised FA rights in 2015, it was difficult to find the transfer destination and he joined Seibu as a test student.
Received an out-of-force notification in 2017 and shifted the playground into cricket. In 2018, he was elected to the Men’s Japan Cricket National Team, and has been playing as a representative of Japan. From 2018, he has been visiting Australia and Sri Lanka for strengthening training and carrying out the following activities.

July, 2018:Participated in the Strike League in Darwin, Australia
October, 2018-:Participated in the league match at St Kilda in Melbourne, Australia
December 2018-:Participate in the league match at toopak prahran
August 2018-:Participated in practice at The Singhalese Sports Club (SSC), Sri Lanka
February 2020-:Participated in the league match at The Singhalese Sports Club (SSC). However, returned to Japan due to the Covid-19.

As of 2021, he is registered and playing in the Sri Lankan professional team (SSC: Singhalese Sports Club). Moreover, he aims to play an active part in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is the world’s highest peak in the cricket world.
